Serena Salerno, also known as Juju, is a multidisciplinary artist from Wichita, Kansas. She works across murals, caricatures, and illustration, combining bold color, sharp detail, and surreal themes.

She began learning from her father, a sculptor, which gave her a strong foundation in form and precision. Growing up surrounded by art in many forms, she developed a deep interest in murals and graffiti culture, which has influenced her approach with a raw, expressive energy that still shapes her work today.

Her work draws from Y2K aesthetics, childhood cartoons, and the vivid imagery of her dreams. She explores contrast through softness and strength, playfulness and depth, beauty and distortion.

Serena works in acrylic, spray paint, colored pencil, or oil, depending on the project. Each piece connects her mural and graffiti roots with her fine art practice. For her, painting is not a performance or a statement. It is the most direct way to communicate.
